SUMMARY:International Coastal Cleanup Day
DESCRIPTION:This year we are celebrating International Coastal Clean Up for the whole month! During September (and always) we encourage solo clean ups in your local neighborhood\, parks\, lakes\, and rivers. \nOn Saturday\, September 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.\, our Vice Chair Jill will be with Washington CoastSavers to help participants at Twin Harbors State Park. Please register for this event here. Don’t forget to bring a mask and gloves! \nFeeling creative? Check out Surfrider’s Found Objects contest and show us what you’ve found! \nFeeling hardcore? Fill out a Beach Cleanup Data Card listing everything you’ve collected and email it to us so we can track those data with our Beach Cleanup Tool – the information you collect is critical in our fight against plastic pollution. \nIf doing a solo clean up\, please read our solo clean up health and safety guidelines here\, and don’t forget to #RecreateResponsibly!
