SUMMARY:Downtown Butt Pickup
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, July 26th another installment of our Downtown Butt Pickup series! Meet us at 12:00 p.m. near the traffic circle in front of Dancing Goats by the Farmer’s Market with comfy walking shoes. We will provide sanitized buckets\, pickers\, and counters\, and we’ll have gloves and sanitizer available as well\, but please BYO whatever you can!  \nFace masks are required! To keep our volunteers safe\, we are requiring everyone that participates to wear a mask. And please stay 6 ft apart from anyone not in your household. \nDuring our last event on June 7th\, it took 14 volunteers less than an hour to collect 8.6 lbs butts – that’s 6\,728 butts that won’t end up in our waterways as toxic plastic trash that degrades our water quality and harms our marine life. Let’s see if we can beat that record – while we protect what we love! #protectwhatyoulove
