PNW Represent! Throughout our region we had over 790 volunteers from so many organizations come out en masse to clean up our beaches! Below are some impressive numbers that CoastSavers posted summarizing this year's ICC PNW participation.

Our awesome group of local volunteers who picked up thousands of cigarette butts from downtown Olympia on International Coastal Cleanup Day!

Cleanups are a great way to spend a day at the beach, meet some rad folks who care about our coasts, and improve our waterways, but they're really just the tip of the trash-berg! You can Rise Above Plastics every day by buying less, bringing reusable containers/utensils, purchasing from responsible businesses such as Ocean Friendly Restaurants, and supporting environmentally responsible legislation.

Thank you all for a great turnout and for your continued dedication to protecting our oceans, waves, and beaches!
