The Clean Water Classic, Washington's only pro/am surf competition is coming up September 22nd-24th in Westport, WA! Registration for competitors AND volunteers is now open! It's a weekend full of sun, surf, raffles and auctions, kids surf camps and parties!
Surf heats start Saturday morning September 23rd at West Haven State Park. Silent auctions, raffle drawings, music and libations follow that evening at LOGE, Westport's newest lodging/camping experience geared towards adventurers of all kinds.
Interested in volunteering? Please register here - we need Capitol Chapter members to volunteer so our chapter can receive proceeds from the event, which we will use to pay for processing water quality samples, sending letters to our elected officials, and buying supplies for beach cleanups.
While completing her master's degree in Sustainable Development & Conservation Biology from the University of Maryland, Liz taught sustainability to undergraduate students while also volunteering as a docent at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum’s Ocean Hall. As Washington and Alaska Regional Manager, she supports the organization's five Washington chapters, three BC chapters, and Kenai Peninsula Chapter in their amazing work.
