Join us Wednesday, May 1st (6:00 - 7:30 pm) at Priest Point Park for our annual Blue Water Task Force training! Representatives from the Department of Ecology will go over water sampling protocols in preparation for our upcoming sampling season. If you want to practice collecting samples, bring footwear that can get wet and muddy. Afterwards we'll have a BBQ overlooking the water! Meet us at Shelter #3 (the pavilion closest to the water - see map below) at 6:00 pm.
Parking at Priest Point Park is free. Use the parking lot closest to the water (across the bridge from the rose garden). We will meet at Shelter 3, then walk down the trail to the water to demonstrate proper sampling technique. Bathrooms and water fountains are available. BYO reusable dishware and water bottles! We will have burgers (vegetarian options available) and beverages.
