On July 5th, Capitol chapter members, along with Washington CoastSavers and hundreds of concerned local citizens came together to clean up beaches up and down the coast. Over 115 tons of firework debris, food and beverage containers, and other types of trash were collected and removed from our shorelines. Public comment hearings are currently in the works, aiming to come up with a solution for limiting this Patriotic debris. Check out Not a Ban A Better Plan's community Facebook page for updates.
