Chapter Meeting this week, Wednesday March 29th at 7:00 pm at the South Sound Estuary Association (aka the Estuarium). We'll be joined by Environmental Planner Kirsten Feifel, who will give us the low-down on ocean acidification, and how grassroots organizations like the Surfrider Foundation, and volunteers like you, can help monitor ocean trends!

While completing her master's degree in Sustainable Development & Conservation Biology from the University of Maryland, Liz taught sustainability to undergraduate students while also volunteering as a docent at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum’s Ocean Hall. As Washington and Alaska Regional Manager, she supports the organization's five Washington chapters, three BC chapters, and Kenai Peninsula Chapter in their amazing work.
